Eastbank Literacies Base (Glasgow Communities)

Glasgow Communities organise community based literacies support in local venues throughout Glasgow. The learning programme is based on what the learners want to learn using everyday materials and resources. Literacies support is tutored in small groups of no more than six people, and trained volunteers are available at some of the venues to support individual learners. Learners may have the option to work towards a SQA Communication award at Level 2 and 3.

Eastbank literacies base provides a range of literacies support including numeracy and study skills groups and one to one support provided by trained volunteers.

Classes are offered:

Monday evening 6.30pm - 8.30pm (general support and study skills groups)

Thursday evening 6.30pm - 8.30pm (general support and study skills)

Wednesday afternoon 1-3pm
