Glasgow Womens Library

We offer one to one and group literacy and numeracy support to all women, over the age of 16, who live in Glasgow. The sessions are flexible and we provide learning in a safe and welcoming women-only environment, with female tutors.

Our support focuses on women's needs and we are especially sensitive to the needs of women facing crisis situations (domestic violence, homelessness, addictions, sexual violence).

Although GWL caters separately for women looking for certificated ESOL Lessons, we can support women with ESOL Literacies needs.
We have experience of supporting young women, women looking for work, women who are preparing for the Life in the UK test and we work closely with the rest of the Women's Library to support those who wish to access GWL's other lifelong learning or Women Make History opportunities.
