Welcome to the Awareness Raising Section of the Glasgow's Learning website.
Literacies awareness raising can be an extremely effective tool in encouraging people to reflect on their practice, and adapt it to better meet the needs of people with literacies issues. It can also play an important role in informing people about local provision and giving them the confidence to take the next step on their learning journey.
The aim of this section is to encourage the sharing of awareness raising resources and good practice across the city. This area of the website is still under development and you will soon be able to download a selection of awareness raising resources.
We also want you to send us any examples of awareness raising activities you have carried out, along with evaluations of their success, to include in the resource section - the information you send us will help shape the future direction of the website, as well as the activities of the awareness raising pilot group.
