Developing Literacies Learning in the workplace — 06 Dec 2007

A learning and development session on developing literacies learning in the workplace is being held on Wednesday 16 January 2008, 10am-12.30pm at St Mungo's Museum, Castle Street, Glasgow.

The session is aimed at development workers, tutors, programme managers and anyone else with an interest in workplace literacies. The PDA: Developing Literacies Learning in the Workplace will be launched by the SQA late January/early February 2008. This session will introduce you to details of the qualification, and cover questions you may have about the PDA including:

  • Who might want to take the PDA?
  • What are the entry criteria to get into the PDA?
  • What does the PDA cover in the course itself?

During the session, examples from the recent delivery of the PDA pilot course will be introduced. There will also be a general discussion about workplace literacies.
