CLD Staff Development Session — 19 Dec 2007

Two staff development sessions which will give an introduction to staff self-evaluation using How Good is Our Community Learning and Development? are being hosted by Culture and Sport Glasgow in the New Year.

How Good is our Community and Development? is a self evaluation tool developed by HM Inspectors of Education to help organisations delivering CLD to evaluate the quality of their services.

The two sessions, which are free of charge, are open to anyone is the South West of Glasgow and will give participants the chance to find out more about using the tool.

They will involve an introduction to the framework followed by a practical self-evaluation task which will give participants the chance to use the framework in their own work. A follow up session will be held approximately two months later to discuss participants' experience of using the framework.

The first session will take place in Pollok Community Centre, Langton Road, Pollok on Thursday January 24. It will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm followed by lunch. The follow up session will take place at the same venue on Thursday March 27.

To reserve your place, please complete a booking form and return it by Friday 18 January 2008 to Barbara Joyce, Culture and Sport Glasgow, 20 Trongate, G1 5PP or email communitylearningsupport@csglasgow.org
