Glasgow's Travelling Ghost Story — 23 Oct 2007
The Glasgow's Learning learners publication is underway and this year will include a travelling ghost story written by various groups across the city.
A literacies/creative writing tutor is currently visiting groups of learners across Glasgow and inviting each group to contribute the next part of the travelling ghost story. The travelling story can be a lot less daunting that having to produce an individual piece of writing, and people can contribute as much or as little as they like as part of their group. Individuals are also welcome to contribute to the travelling story as well, and this can include images or artwork to accompany their writing.
Thanks to all the learners who have sent in their individual stories so far - please continue to send these in! It is hoped to have all contributions submitted by Monday 12 November and the next stage will be to pull together a group of learners who are interested in being part of the production process, from deciding on the format of the book and the content, to what the front cover should look like.
Anyone who is interested in getting involved, either as part of the production process or the travelling story, should contact Maria-Elena Heather, ALN Development Officer on 0141 287 0953 or maria-elena.heather@csglasgow.org
