Aye Write! 2012 Meet the Author taster workshops

Glasgow Life is hosting 6 ‘Meet The Author' taster workshops during for adult literacies learners and community writing groups across the city. These are being part-funded by the Scottish Book Trust.

The FREE workshops aim to inspire adult learners who may be lacking confidence in reading and writing to get interested in reading and do some of their own creative writing. Participants will have the chance to meet the writers, hear them reading their work, talk to them about it, and try out some creative writing activities and ideas themselves.

Participants can come together again at Aye Write! in March to share their own work and to celebrate their writing with other learners from across the city.
